Ft. Monroe wedding

I've been a little MIA on this blog. So much has happened and is about to happen. We are currently in the process of moving out of our house and into an RV. You can follow us HERE at Haulin with the Oats. It's a great new journey we are about to begin and are super excited about.

Back to this amazing wedding!! I had the pleasure of shooting Sarah and David's wedding at Ft. Monroe on a gorgeous weekend. The day before, there were lots of storms with good wind and heavy rain. Luckily it all cleared up and we were blessed with nothing but sunshine. Sarah and David are the sweetest couple you could meet and it showed throughout their entire day. I just loved the colors, the flowers, and all the details. A year of planning and stressing and meeting all came together on this amazing day. She looked beautiful and her dress was unlike anything I've ever seen. It was a two piece dress that had the option of having lace or not. I loved it!! Below I've shared what a glimpse into their day was like. Congrats again to the lovely couple... Sarah and David!

Colonial Williamsburg Family Session

Last weekend the weather was absolutely wonderful. I ended up having two family photo sessions and we could not have asked for better timing. However, everyone else thought it would also be a great time to stroll through the streets Colonial Williamsburg and that made parking a beast but other than that, it was perfect!

If you all remember this lovely little family, baby A was only a newborn right at Christmas time and now he is 10 months old. He is the cutest little thing you ever did see. His eyes are big, brown and amazing!!! I just couldn't get over his cuteness. :) He was very serious the entire time, never made a peep but mommy and daddy did get him to crack a smile a time or two. Happy Holidays to the Erlich Family!

Yorktown Virginia Engagement Session

So two weekends ago I shot a last minute engagement session. It was very spur of the moment and I'm actually going to be shooting their wedding in the spring... super excited! However, they don't live here and it was their last day in town, so I told them I could do it. Needless to say, it ended up raining that day, being chilly and very windy.  Those are not the weather conditions you would hope to have for a session on the water. She didn't complain, was willing to make it work and that was a huge plus. :) The session turned out great, the rain eventually died down and we even managed to grab a few pics on Yorktown Battlefieds during the government shutdown. woo hoo!! That's what I call rockin a session! You can be sure to see their wedding coming up sometime in April. They are the sweetest couple and I look forward to their special day.

Williamsburg Winery Wedding : Tony and Natalie

Last weekend, I shot a gorgeous wedding at the Williamsburg Winery. I just love shooting there! The weather was a little iffy and so the ceremony was moved indoors before the start of the wedding but we still managed to get some shots of the bridal party outdoors. Shooting outside is my all time fave so I do the best I can in making sure that gets done. The bride and groom looked stunning as well as their adorable little girl. She was just as sweet as could be. Congrats to Tony and Natalie and best wishes in the many years to come!
