Bangor Maine Wedding Photography : Ruth and Travis

I can't believe that last weekend I was in Bangor Maine shooting a wedding!! Crazy to think that we drove 15 hours all the way to gorgeous Maine on a Friday, went to Acadia National Park on Saturday morning, shot a wedding on Saturday afternoon and then drove back on Sunday!! ahh. I wouldn't just do this for anyone. Ruth has been such an amazing person in our lives and she is way worth a drive of 15 hours to witness her special day and to capture it on camera. 

Back in 2008, Chris and Montana met Ruth and her father at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital while I was home giving birth to our daughter, Makenna. I had heard such great things about them and we eventually became friends on facebook. Even though I never met her face to face, I have kept up with her via the internet and it feels like I've known her forever. I'm so happy to see her doing so well and to have met such a great guy. Travis has been great for her and I look forward to continue keeping up with them and hopefully seeing them again in the future. Their wedding was beautiful! I mean, how could it not.. it was in Maine! The weather turned out perfect, the location was amazing, and the couple looked beyond stunning. Congratulations Ruth and Travis and thank you so much for allowing us to be apart of your special day! 

The Waldron Family: Colonial Williamsburg Virginia Family Photography

This week has been so crazy busy and I've had about a million things on my "to do" list. I've always been pretty good at time management but this past week has really tested me... :) Anyway, I know this family has been so patiently waiting to see their family session post and I finally have it up and ready to be viewed. They are the kindest and cutest family ever. Last summer they came into town and wanted some family shots with her side of the family and this year they came back to do photos with his parents and to top it off... they added a sweet little boy to the family. I have always found it to be so neat to see and photograph families that grow.. LOVE it! Thanks so much guys for visiting Williamsburg again and for allowing me to photograph your amazing family!! 

Carley : Williamsburg Virginia High School Senior Photography

Meet Carley. She is athletic, super sweet, very outgoing and such an all around great person. I used to coach her way back in the day (it seems) on the summer swim team. Well, it turns out swimming wasn't her thing and actually field hockey and track are. She earned herself a scholarship to BallState University in not one but two sports. A-mazing!! This past Saturday we shot her senior pictures and we had a great time catching up as we walked, shot and talked. Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE high school senior photos? ...  I do. :) Congrats Carley on all your hard work and good luck this coming year!!
