I was super excited to find out that I would be in town to shoot Kristy and Kellen's engagement photos. Kristy is the youngest of the Kiefer sisters and about two years ago I had the amazing opportunity to shoot her sister Katie's wedding in Mexico. This past summer, if you remember, I shot a wedding in the Dominican Republic and that was for her cousin Corrine. And, back in college I swam with her other sister, Kelly. Phew, did you get all that? Needless to say.. I know this family pretty well now and I love them all! Kristy and Kellen were laid back, fun, sweet, simple and just so wonderful to work with. We had a gorgeous day that was sunny and a tad warmer than the sessions on the day previous.. not by much though. :) It's great to see how couples interact with one another and in the end you find out exactly what makes them work together. Every couple is so unique with certain qualities that stand out. Kristy and Kellen were no different. They truly are in love and you could totally see it in the way they smiled, laughed, and spoke. Congrats to the both of you and best wishes with all the future wedding planning!!
